At least, that’s what they’d like you to believe. That’s the trouble with fairy tales, they change with each retelling until the original story is all but unrecognizable from the fable. The little merman lives happily ever after with his prince instead of turning into sea foam. The stepbrothers just pout instead of cutting off parts of their bodies while Cindefella rides off and marries his prince. And just like the bards and skalds of old, the teller gets to decide which version is told, but this was the first time Zion Moonfall controlled someone’s happily ever after. 

How the fuck did he get himself into these things? Oh yeah, a bet, a drunken bet.
